Why Tubes ?The most obvious thing about a vacuum tube is the vacuum inside it. Tubes are devices for controlling the transfer of energy in electrical circuits. In this respect they are similar to rheostats, switches, and other circuit-type control devices. Tubes however, permit much more rapid, precise, and efficient control of electrical energy than mechanically operated devices. We all know by now that the conductor affects sound quality; the vacuum provides a perfect signal pathway, with zero degradation. This is orders better than a transistors semi-conductor material.
